About Us
COME AND TAKE OUT is a pro bono marketing campaign created by an all-volunteer team of over 100 marketing professionals. It was born purely out of love for local restaurants and the desire to help them survive the COVID-19 crisis. Our goal is to inspire Texans to come to the aid of our beloved local restaurants with the simple act of ordering take-out. Like Don't Mess with Texas, this campaign is a rally banner everyone can get behind, appealing to the pride, resilience and compassion of Texans everywhere.
In 1836, Texans used this banner to send a message loud and clear: We will not surrender.
In 2020, Texans will use this banner to carry the very same message and inspire fellow Texans to join the fight.
